Paraphrasing involves reinterpreting an idea or concept using one's own words. This piece paraphrases elements from Mexico City's diverse sound landscape. The city's streets, bars, and clubs contribute a mix of rhythms, including rock, danzón, and hip-hop. Everyday sounds like street vendors' calls, colloquial melodies, and vendor shouts serve as the inspiration for the rhythmic and melodic themes woven throughout the piece.
